My friend, Judy, and I were playing with my small Spellbinder floral dies to come up with a design for her multitude of teen great granddaughters. The top one in white is where we landed. I loved it so much I decided to use that layout for a birthday card for my sister.
She likes pastels and I have enjoyed using the turquoise/yellow combo of late so went with those colors. Unfortunately, to my eye, the colors were too subtle to have much presence on the card even after I embossed the bg. So I scatter sequins all over the card and that helped immensely. When in doubt, embellish!
TFL. And, if your day is not so bright and cheery, I suggest you add a bit of embellishment to brighten it up. Maybe pull out that tiara you haven't worn in a very long time. You'll feel like a Queen!

Beautiful card for your sister! I love the soft colors, and the sequins add just the right amount of "wow"!
