Anytime there is a quilting challenge, I'm really challenged. I appreciate quilters hard work, I like fabrics and trims but the style isn't quite my thing, unless it's geometric.
I started out in a different direction, was going to use one of my watercolors but changed my mind. What started me off was the last thumbnail in the second row. I liked the woodgrain, the layout and knew that I had a charm that would work. Years ago, I bought these charms made from vintage tape measures or yardsticks, probably from Etsy.
I used some other vintage trims; the crocheted or tatted rick rack came from my Grandma's house, the seam binding at the top was purchased from Goodwill. I used a washi tape that looked 'quilty'.
As I'm assembling this, I spy this postage stamp that I just cut off from an envelope yesterday and I thought it was perfect. I had the postage stamp die already cut, used that for a frame. No rubber stamps or inks used. I had fun with this, always enjoy the IC. Thanks for the challenge.

You have everything you needed to make this wonderful card. And, things from your Grandma's house is wonderful. Oh, went back and read that the Washi tape looked quilty after I had thought you said guilty. I wondered how it looked guilty. lol
