I am very new to cardmaking, so here is my first upload to this site! Created with DCWV Regency Collection patterned cardstock, Astrobright cardstock, sentiment layer from Maggie Holmes Woodland Grove collection, washi stickers purchased online in a random pack, and scrap paper (stars) die cut on my Cricut. No stamps or inks were used.

What lovely colors you chose for this card! We were all 'relatively new' at one time or another...haha. Welcome to uploading on SCS! Any questions, click on 'help' at the top of the page or 'forum', then scroll until you see 'start here.' I hope you check out the daily challenges on the homepage and in the forum....something fun for everyone.

Love all the elements you combined to make your card. Beautiful birthday card with sweet colours. Jean is right. All of us started new somewhere and this is a great place to get inspiration and knowledge. Hope to see you around in the galleries!

Well, I am echoing the others -- you have chosen some lovely colors and elements and created a sweet birthday wish. I have to say, you may be new to this craft but your "early" card is a lot better than mine were. Glad you found SCS. There is tons of inspiration and the folks here are super helpful if you have questions. I would encourage you to check out the challenges. Even if you don't post right away, you'll learn and be inspired by some of the fabulous card makers here. Hope you enjoy your new craft as much as I have. Welcome to SCS.

Great first card! I love how the print creates vertical stripes! I echo what others have said about the challenges. I especially like the Featured Stamper challenge each week as I get so many ideas by browsing others' galleries!
