For my card, I used a handmade paper that my MIL gave me for Christmas for the base. I added some distressing to the edge of the layers. I then did a very heavy emboss on the love panel and let it distress the embossing to tear the paper.
I added a Valentine sentiment and a couple of hearts and finished the hearts with a few gems.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.
Thank you for looking!

Artistry must run in all sides of your family, Lisa - including the one you've married into! My, that is lovely paper, but what you've turned it into is truly a thing of beauty! This card would be equally adored by male or female alike and is a treat to all of us to find in the gallery this morning!
THANK YOU so much for your beautiful sample for SC993 this week! I have SO appreciated your mastery of my sketches!
