Today's Tea Party is for Susie in Ohio. A coworker of mine nominated Susie, who recently lost her husband to brain cancer. Lisa is our hostess and has challenged us to send cute animals to bring her some cheer. Susie used to be an Underwriter at MetLife, so I chose the number one cutest animal--Snoopy! I remembered the tutorial on Coloring Book Creations where you scan coloring book pages and print them onto good cardstock. So I scanned this Snoopy and printed him onto Neenah cardstock. Then I masked him and sponged a bit of yellow and orange glow according to this week's colors. And grounded him with the green grass. These are also rich warm colors for the CAS challenge. I also chose to combine with the TLC to stamp script through a stencil. I stamped a text background through a Honey Bee Stamps layering stencil. It's little flowers with the centers that you layer in. I was going to layer the centers into these flowers, but the centers were too big. I would have lost the words. Anyway, I like the look of the blobs of text for this little note to let Susie know we're thinking of her. Funny thing is I was just raving about Beverly's TLC card with Snoopy. I guess you could say I CASEd her card.

Super and so fun that you chose Met-Life's spokesdog. Snoopy is the epitome of warm hugs; and, to emphasize that even more, your warm colors and glow make me feel hugged clear across the nation. Love the TLC this week and it looks great on this design. Fabulous card, Jen.
