I was feeling low on ideas for todayâs CAS challenge and was looking through Pinterest and found these cards in my pins, which gave me the thought of making separate monochromatic(ish) simple cards rather than one combining the colors:
I found the right colors in my cardstock, and looked through a paper pad with
A wide variety of colors and picked out coordinating papers for each color. I cut 4x4 inch squares of the cardstock and 3.75x3.75 inch squares of the pattern pieces. I used tape runner to attach the papers to the solid squares and glued the squares to the card bases. Then I die cut a flower from each of the colors and a flower center from a coordinating color, glued them together and attached to the card front. I stamped the sentiment (In Symmetry) in coordinating ink colors in the card front and finished with a gem for each flower center.

These pretty cards are definitely the cure for the cold humdrums! I love how you used different colors and papers for essentially the same card, and each turned out beautifully!
