This week the Tea Potters are sending extra birthday wishes to Celia who turned 18 on the same day as her father underwent open heart surgery. Our hostess, Jacqueline, challenged us to CASE one of our older cards and make it "new". I have used these dies on several cards, but my inspiration for this card was from the Spellbinders blog here: https://stopandstamptheroses.blogspo...cards.html?m=0 and from Polly aka Peep321: MMTPT807 Belated Birthday by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers) I knew I wanted to use aqua as soon as I saw Polly's card. Isn't it darling.
I loved the double scallop framing Michelle used on her cards and when I saw her colors it sealed the deal for the aqua. My only double scallop is rectangles so I went with that. This card is all die cuts so nothing to explain here.
I hope that Celia has had the opportunity to fully celebrate her milestone birthday of 18 and I hope our cards will add to that celebration. Hope you are celebrating something today...me, it's a bit warmer here so that's worth celebrating in my book. TFL

Wow! That framing is amazing! I love the texture is gives your card and the heft it has to support those glorious flowers. That die cut sentiment couldn't be better either. Love this!

The aqua and pale yellow is a lovely light, happy combination. The crisp white frame on the textured Bazzill looks fabulous. I should work on using mine more!

Fab card...that all white bg with the scalloped overlay is a neat design element. it really shows off your aqua and yellow flowers. Glad you liked the aqua..I swear I use my BG10, 11, 13 copics and the BG000 ones, too, more than any other colors.

Gorgeous! Debbie, not only outstanding design but your photos are as perfect as all your work! The framing is fabulous for these layered flower die-cuts. The colors and the headline are superb...

Love this beautiful card and as was mentioned, your awesome photography captured such wonderful details of the textures of your paper and the stitching indentations. A wonderful way to use these pretty colors!
