I used a panel I had made for Jean's TLC: TLC985 4 for 1 Background Magic 01/08/2024 by jkanack at Splitcoaststampers
I had only fun on my day off last week, because I knew what Jean was planning. I made two sheets using similar colours - I've attached a photo in the challenge thread. The darker looking one was Lavina Elements brayered - which is not my forte, so I then tried brushing distress inks onto another sheet. In the end I'm not sure which I prefer. The distress one was fired brick, salty ocean and salvaged patina. Then I used a turquoise shimmer mist from Colourcraft (makers of Brusho). I stamped a flourish CAC stamp from Impression Obsession in the centre of each piece, with a dark blue ink. (I didn't cut mine up as shown in the video).
I had more luck with stippling white paint through my stencils than I did with white ink, so there's a bit of both. I stamped a Penny Black floral in Delicata gold, and then did some more stencilling with gold paint, Inka Gold and a silver paste from Cosmic Shimmer. The distress sheet has some more stencilling with a texture medium sprinkled with turquoise glitter. On the other sheet I used TH crackle paste, and then some more texture paste with a deep red glitter. After taking the photos I added an HA script stamp because script always makes backgrounds better ;-).
The strips are popped up on foam, and have the narro edges doodled. The feathers are WPlus9 Fanciful Feathers - for the turquoise ones I used the same shimmer spray as for my mixed media background, and the red one is Fired Brick distress ink sponged on card - all embossed with gold EP. They are stuck to the card in the centre, and a bit of silicone glue adds enough dimension at each end to prevent them getting flattened. Sentiment is XCut, cut from gold glitter card.

Beautiful colors, and going with the tall card definitely was the best way to include and highlight all three of those gorgeous feathers and panels. The gold sentiment also accents it well. Really pretty!!

Your bg is stunning and the colors look like you were intending to use it all along with those gorgeous feathers. And their feathers are gorgeous. Love your interpretation of your previous card and how you transformed it into this beauty. Adding my WOW! to your chorus of admirers here. Fantastic card.
