A card for both Jay and Celia, father and daughter, who shared a special day this week - Jay had open heart surgery, and Celia turned 18! The two hearts represent father and daughter, and the butterfly represents changes - Jay for a restored life, and Celia for becoming an adult.
Inside the card has a birthday cake and wishes on one side, and wishes for a quick recovery for Jay on the other.
Our Teapot Tuesday challenge was to use old and new, and in my stash I found a partially completed card front from over 15 years ago when I was enamored with the Stampin Up set Paint Prints. I then completed it by adding the sentiment, hearts and butterfly.

And I thought I hung on to things for a long time! LOL! This is lovely and in my favorite color combo...love the hint of green in your bg. Great idea to combine greeting for father and daughter. OK...I'm not throwing anything away now...hehe

You may well want to become enamored again as this card is gorgeous. I, too, love your colors of green and blue and the soothing feel from this beauty. I love how cleverly you combined images for both Dad and Daughter --- brilliant. Fabulous card.
