The bottom part of this is a napkin. I wanted to use just a portion of it so I applied water with a paintbrush along the part I needed and then I tore it.The top half of this is an old book page that was colored with gelatoes and then glued using mod podge. I glued the napkin to the bottom and went over the whole thing wtih mod podge. Forgot to mention that I stamped some trees in green along the edge (this was before I glued the rest on).

I love how you collaged all your mixed media together, Polly! Great idea to add water to tear the napkin where you wanted to! The sentiment is so well appointed, and taken note of with a smile! I can see some of the things you may love, if your card is any indication! Looks like you’re ready to hit the road and adventure with this! I hope you know of a place as beautiful as the one you’ve created here.

I love this so much, it's hard to start on why. The color palette is gorgeous, I love the station wagon napkin image, and the book page with the trees stamped on your panel and your card background. Such a bright, beautiful, wonderfully creative card!
