Had everything on hand in my stash. Grabbed a colored panel, did the Debossing EF technique. Popped on a cut out leaf from a previously made gel print from a stencil, backed it with a black fussy cut shadow. This James Taylor song and quote is one that we played at our wedding in 1985. We are definitely growing old together.

Beautiful card and a wonderful quote. Good job cutting the leaf shadow.

Wonderful bg and the leaf pattern really accents your beautiful main leaf image. I love that you married leaves with the quote about the passage of time -- so apropos and so beautifully crafted. Great card.
It's great to "see" you here! I think of you every time I use my Gel Plate. Happy New Year. Hugs.

Lovely card! That bold leaf is beautiful backed in black. I really like that quote. James Taylor was played at our wedding too, in 1978, though not that song. :-)

This looks really great with the light smooshes of black against your embossed folder, it really adds a lot of depth and interest to that background. The leaf and sentiment are a beautiful touch!

Lori, I must remember to use this technique with a coloured panel out of my stash. Yours came out great and I love the addition of the leaf. Happy day
