I have never had much success with swiping ink onto an embossed surface, but with this technique you swipe the debossed side and it works beautifully -- for me! I wanted a happy yellow card for a friend's upcoming birthday so I left the base white and swiped with yellow DOX. I wanted to keep it on the lighter side so I used my next darkest yellowish shade of DOX (amber) for the accents, but I think I should have gone for more contrast. It did stay light and airy though, so I'm happy with that. I hope you're happy with your projects today too TFL

I think the amber is great for the butterfly and sentiment, it's strong enough to stand out against the lemonade. Bright and cheerful - perfect for a birthday.

Beautifully done. Yellow is perfect for a cheery birthday greeting. Love the way you colored the embossing folder to get the perfect "look". It's fabulous. The layers, butterfly, and dual/matching headline are perfect...
