Sabrina has us using Feathers on our Tickle card and using a tutorial technique for extra cookies.
I am sure I used a bunch of tutorial techniques on this card (yes, I am lazy) and I know I used techniques learned in the weekly watercolor challenge on SCS.
How I did it: stamped images, drew a skinny tree and foliage to cover the black ink over stamping (oops), did a quick watercolor wash, added some green to foliage, added brown to the tree, water colored the bird/bird feeder/feathers, splattered on leftover paint, fussy cut the feathers and sentiment, added a bit of stickles to the feathers and the wire (because I love sparkle), and sponged the edges with distress ink. Fun start to my vacation!

That looks like one happy bird getting to eat at this cool feeder. I enjoy watching the birds eat at my feeders and your painting reminds me of them. TFS

That bird feeder stamp is just delightful. Great work drawing in the tree. It reminds me of the pine tree that was outside my window during my teen years - I can almost smell it.

This looks wonderful, Nancy, I love the bird and the bird feeder and your slim tree is so well done with the water colour wash bg and splatters! I love the sparkle and floating leaves on this card, too!
