Here is my card for this week's TLC. I kind of combined the Mystery Envelope with the Scavenger Hunt. You all know how much I enjoy recycling old cards. My mom knows that too. So she just gave me a bag of old cards. I considered that my Mystery Envelope for this challenge. So I went on a Scavenger Hunt for a background, a focal image, a sentiment, and a shiny embellishment. As usual, I forgot to take a picture of the original cards. This uses four different cards from four different relatives. First I grabbed the pinecone/greenery and fussy cut. The red plaid background was the back of that card. The strip of green plaid was from a different card. I fussy cut the red poinsettia from another card and used my hole punch to get some shiny embellishments. The last part of my scavenger hunt was the small "Truly Hopeful" that I die cut as a tag. That was fun!

Wow, a great card, and sounds like a fun way to get my mojo going. I am spending this week taking care of aging parents, but as soon as I get home this challenge will be a fun one to start with!! Love your results.
