When I saw this candle die set I knew I wanted to create a candles inspired by old-times brass candle-holders. I made a Christmas project, but if you used different sentiments and foliage this project can be displayed all year around.
Smear Distress Ink on a non-stick craft sheet and mist with water. Press watercolor paper into the ink. Let dry and repeat. I made papers in different shades of red and pink and used them to die cut the parts of the candle. The holder was die cut from two shades of gold metallic paper, gold glitter paper and yellow glimmery paper. Sand and ink the edges.
Cover Etcetera board with patterned paper and sand the edges. Color a piece of acetate with alcohol ink and glue behing the window. Glue another piece of patterned paper behind the acetate. For a frosty look, apply Glossy Accents to the window panes and cover with glitter. You can also add mica flakes.
Die cut foliage from gold metallic paper and add pearls as berries.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
