My congratulations to the featured stamper this week, Kirra (DragonLady64) - keyword FS881. Such a fabulous and inspiring Gallery!
I chose Fly Away! by DragonLady64 at Splitcoaststampers to case for the Challenge so I could use a recent - and as yet uninked - purchase. I was astonished to see how similar my kite set is to hers!
I also saw many cards in her Gallery that used the Swirly Scribbles dies in unique and clever ways, so with that in mind I decided to use an actual steel die as a stencil for my sun - and was pleased with the outcome.
I intended to flip my card to landscape orientation, but could not make that work because my kite is too large. Other than using all different stamps, I did use similar colors but omitted the words on the scribbles diecut - which I accidentally inverted while adhering it LOL!
