I know, I know just what you're thinking. What does this have to do with the letter B? Now for your 'history' lesson.
Back in 1948, these Caribbean islands location were known as the British West Indies. Somewhere on this island of Trinidad, there was an Army base. My dad was in the Army Air Corps (later becoming the Air Force). I was born in Bean Army Hospital (location) that year. We lived on the island of St. Lucia & they flew my mom in a helicopter to the hospital 10 days prior to her due date. I printed this map to make my card showing the location I was born. And, yes, I am a US citizen!! Hope this counts!
Thanks for stopping by.

I love this lesson on the British West Indies and I love that you made this so personal to include not only this lesson about it as your birthplace but the actual map on your card. I think ideas like yours is going to make this year's ABC challenges fun to do and lots of fun to follow!!
