I had the day off on Friday so was able to spend some time crafting! I was not in the mood for ink blending a background, so this multicolored paper fit the bill. The pinks and lavenders reminded me of winter and the yellow in the upper right corner reminded me of the sun, perfect for this challenge to make a winter scene featuring sunlight.
I die cut the multicolored paper with a stitched border all the way around and then die cut a second panel in white with a stitched border all the way around. This white panel was used to die cut the stitched hills for the snowy ground.
It was a little stressful stamping each cluster of animals one at a time using black ink, since I was worried about mistakes and smudges and having to start over, but I am happy with the results. I used a stamp positioning tool and a clear piece of acetate to pre-stamp each time to check for exact placement.
Thanks for looking!

This is lovely! I saw the graduation of colour in your sky right off. Your little animal silhouettes are splendidly done against the snowy hills. The use of the acetate for placement is such a good idea!
