I had already had my base watercolor done from the WCW186 where Benzi had us all doing a wolf moon. I actually didn't have baby wipes or magic erasers so I had left mine for a few days to try and do the moon later. After seeing this great Santa picture, I decided to do a moon large enough to fit my only flying Santa image. The ink didn't set on the white acrylic so I covered it in Versamark and heated some silvery/glittery EP to set it.
It was a bit of a struggle, but I think it is fun.
Thanks to Amy, Brenda, and the artists involved in the original artwork for inspiring me.
Hope you all are ready for Santa because I am sure he is making last minute preparations right now.

How fun, Nancy, to add Santa and his reindeer across the moon. Your card is such a delight. Good job shadowing the trees, big and small. Super card!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

That Moon definitely makes a statement and I love that you had it cast shadows from all your trees below - definitely as it should be.
HO ho ho - Merry Christmas!

Love the way your snow looks on the ground and the moon is so bright that your trees have shadows! Really fun Christmas card, Nancy. Sometimes it's best to leave a project and come back later, like this one~
