This is my card for CC979 & CC980. Jeanne is our hostess, and she chose sweet sorbet, lemon-lime twist, daffodil delight and petal pink for her color combo. Dessert option this week is a fun fold. I had 4-5 different ideas for my card but I couldn't get the fun fold to work the way I wanted. So no dessert for me.
I finished all of my Christmas cards for this year, so I have one for 2024 done.
I used the Old fashioned Ornament die 1 from CottageCutz and cut in the challenge colors. The background foil vine is from Papyrus.
I don't have petal pink so I subbed polished pink jewels and added them to the vine. Stamped myChristmas sentiment in watermelon wonder ink (i's a good sub for sweet sorbet) and added a sweet sorbet enamel dot to complete my card.
Hope you can find time in this busy week to play along with us. If not, this challenge will run for 2 weeks so you have another week to finish your card.

What a great start for your 2024 Christmas cards, Mary! This is so pretty, with the Papyrus vine in the background and that vintage-style ornament. Merry Christmas!

This is so pretty Mary. I did not think Christmas with these colors but you really did a beautiful job using them for the holiday. The “joy” says it perfectly - this is a joyful looking card!

NOW we're talking, Mary - this is perfect! I am patiently waiting for winter to show it's face here in MN and want nothing to do with colors that make me think spring/new plants. (No discredit to the hostess - she chose lovely colors, truly!)
I LOVE that you took this right where I need to stay this time of year - seasonal and Christmas-related, even. GREAT inspiration to get a jump on next year's cards or take care of a thank-you card or two!
