I watched the great video to paint an ornament, I didn't use a compass just laid down a die cut circle and traced around, then rubbed a max to leave just a bit of pencil.
I've added a bit of purple and several blues, made my star white with the gel pen, splattered a bit and stamped the Christmas sentiment

Anita, I love your ornament. It is beautiful and so is the star. We had the same idea with using purple but I kept adding blue and covered my purple, unfortunately. I also used a circle die cut to
make the ornament. Beautiful card and tree.

Oh, this is amazing. I agree with Jean so beautiful and subtle. The added purple is terrific along with your wonderous star! Again, you created a beautiful painting and added it to the gallery. TFS
Wow! Your ornament is exquisite! I really love your mix of colors with the purple! Your tree in the forefront is picture-perfect. You painted a gorgeous ornament!

I love love love the touches of purple you ended up with, and adding finishing touches with the white gel pen was genius! You really ended up with a three-dimensional look on your bauble. Really beautiful work!
