This card is for my dear friend and neighbor ruth. She turned 90 years old in october. She was a pillar of the church, handling everything from passing out bulletins lighting the candles to shoveling snow, she played special music she plays a harpsichord, a guitar, the piano, and she cannot read music she plays it all by ear. She is at the stage of life now where she's starting to get dementia and she has to use a cane or walker. She actually just started missing Church in the past 2 months. It breaks all of our hearts to see her this way, she has been in our hearts forever. For her card I used a nativity die, and Crafters companion foiled paper for the background. I used a mint colored envelope and mint base card, and the little old stamp of Charlie Brown carrying the tree, I fussy cut for the card. I'd like to thank everyone who has participated in sending Ruth a card. Have a fabulous and blessed holiday..

Your nativity scene die is fabulous and I love how it looks against that foiled paper. Such soft colors for such a loving, peaceful scene. The CAS design is simple but so oh elegant The gem in the star is the perfect finishing touch. Beautiful card.
