I wanted to use this new Berries and Bow image from DRS Designs and having it hanging on a wooden barn door seemed like a great idea. I stamped the image and then sketched and painted up the wooden door. My lines are a bit off but that is true of our doors on our mini-barn too. I added some abstract greenery and some distressing. I also kept the bow red to match up with the plaid on Dawn's card. Would have been cool to have a moose shadow too, but I am out of time and running late and wasn't sure that the shadow would have looked like a moose or a big stain - lol.
Congrats Dawn, I love your gallery. Hope you enjoy seeing how your creations inspire others.

I love this card, Nancy. You sketched a super barn door and the distressing looks great. The red bow and berries look great on that door. Hope you decorated your barn door like that in real life.

The barn door scene is fantastic! Your sketched and painted door makes your wood panel outstanding. The greens, the berries, and the bow are beautiful...

Such a down home cozy Christmas design, Nancy. Your painted door is fabulous, as are the berries hanging from it. I think greenery always warms things up, and I love what you did to bring that into play.
