I was inspired today by all the cute gingerbread type houses, basically kraft and white. I have been following a company called Inkylicious and tried to do this technique using what I have. She used holly shaped stencil, sponging white around the edges, then stamp a cabin and some trees; the stencil I used is the only one I have that is open.
The goal of the technique is to make the stenciled area look 3D. She used ink on the edges, I used a shading pencil. This is also for yesterday's F4A to feature SNOW. No snow here at the moment. I'm pretty pleased with how this came out.
Thanks for the challenge!

Gorgeous card! I love the edging you did with the stencil, the colors you used to color and shade this lovely scene and the snow! This reminds me of a log cabin that a girlfriend and her husband used to own with the big wide porches - very cozy.
