I love it when a card turns out exactly how I picture it in my head! Our challenge is to depict directions. Alas, I don't think my card will help Jean with her confusion, since the signpost shows that all roads lead to home! I stamped the map twice, paper piecing the land portions, clouds and whale. Used gold and white gel pens to highlight. Stamped the signpost on woodgrain DSP, handwrote the words and shaded with marker. Ran the panel through a textured EF. I don't make many non-A2 cards as I'm too lazy to make envelopes, but I didn't want to cut off any more of the map! My DH (not helpfully) pointed out that Canada is part of North America, but that's what's on the stamp!

I love that all roads lead to home and the texture of the ef. The map could use a bit of work. From Canada, we are used to hearing people talk about others being from "America". I know what is meant but if I'm in a snarky mood, I want to ask, "North America, South America or The United States of America" because I, too, am from "America".

Giggling because sometimes well-meaning husbands are better left unheard. Not our fault when a perfectly good image is skewed by a technicality. (made in China?) Love your paper piecing and gold enhancements.
