This is my card for CC976. Barbara is our hostess and she chose silver, azure afternoon and blueberry bushel for her color trio. Dessert option is snow.
Of course, I had to go with a Christmas theme with these colors and dessert option.
My background paper is from the Stampin' Up "one horse open sleigh" collection. It's so perfect for creating outdoor scenes for Christmas or Winter. This background is featuring misty moonlight one of our allowed neutrals.
I cut my snowman and bird in the challenge colors. For the tree I used bristol smooth cardstock and an ink blending brush with mossy meadow ink and then cut the tree from that piece.
The bird is carrying a silver glitter star and a silver glitter present. My Merry Christmas sentiment phrase is cut in misty moonlight cardstock.
That's my sample for this week. I hope you can play along with us. Barbara has chosen some great colors for your card designs.

Mary, you've added so many fun details .... love the snowman and that sweet little bird! You had the perfect background paper to build on as you created this delightful winter scene!!

That's the most delightful snowman. Or is it a snow boy? The bg is wonderful, Mary.

You created an adorable snowman scene, Mary. Love the background paper. The little bright bird is so sweet. The banner at the top completes this wonderful card.
