Laura slipped and cracked her vertebrae and she is also fighting cancer. UGH! So, the Tea Potters are sending her healing thoughts in shades of green. Specifically, our hostess, Jacqueline, challenged us to use at least three shades of green on our cards. Green is both the symbol for healing and Laura's favorite color so that's a double win.
When I read green I immediately thought Chameleon and pulled out the only chameleon stamp I own. I stenciled the leaf bg in three shades of green inks and then colored the chameleon in three shades of COPICS that I thought came close to the inks. Cut the stripes and adhered to the transparency before die cutting the circle. I used the same stencil to dry emboss the white base layer. Adhered all the elements to the base and added a wobble so the chameleon would stick out a bit from his leafy bg and because wobbles are just fun.
I hope all the beautiful cards flying Laura's direction will make her smile and bring some cheer. And, here's a bit of cheer for you -- my all-time favorite chameleon card by Jennifer Dove. It always makes me chuckle. https://www.pinterest.com/landlind/d...mps/chameleon/. TFL

Ack, I just lost my comment when I went to look at your link. I'm pretty sure I have that chameleon too. I did think that the background embossing matched the stencilling - nice touch, that!

Debbie, this is soooo cute! I love that chameleon image, and so fun that you made him wobble! Love your stenciled and striped circle, too!

Fantastic! The stenciling is perfect. The embossed BG and the fun pun with your chameleon is such awesome idea. Love the story behind the design...
