When I saw Sabrina's challenge to feature baking in my cards, I went right to this fun retro oven stamp from Sizzix. I've never made it into a shaker card before, but it was easier than I thought! I die cut the cookies from Crumb Cake cardstock which I had sponged with Soft Suede to give variation to the color. I added some handwritten words to the sentiment inside so that it reads, "It's beginning to look, smell and taste a lot like Christmas!"

I have eyed that set up more than once, as an ex professional cook. I love the old-fashioned look of the oven, enhanced by the plaid background. What a delightful shaker card. I live the scents of Christmas baking.

That oven makes for such a cute shaker card. And the variation on the gingercookies is pretty realistic. Who doesn't love the smells of holiday baking?
