Time for a new Color Challenge and I am grateful to be your hostess. The colors are: Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, and Shaded Spruce. The elective dessert option is Designer Series Paper or DSP as it is simply known here on SCS.
For my card, I used a favorite paper pack called Wrapped in Plaid. One of the patterns is just cute pine trees sized to be punched out with the Pine Tree punch. I punched out three trees. Then I assembled a Double Easel Card with instructions from Patty Bennett.
The base card is Night of Navy, the easel is Cherry Cobbler. It folds up beautifully to fit into an envelope. When folded the three trees come together.
I heat embossed the sentiment in gold to go with the lines of gold foil in the paper and popped it up. Then, I attached a couple rhinestones and a gold trim bow.
These colors can go Christmas, be masculine, for a birthday or a variety of card-making reasons. I hope you will join in with the challenge and be sure to use the keyword CC975.

I was thinking about these plaids but gave all mine away to a friend who literally couldn't get enough of them. It's so perfect with those trees and the bit of gold on your lovely fun fold card.

Terrific easel card and I didn't think about it--but yes! It works wonderfully as a masculine theme! My brother's birthday is coming up and this would be perfect for him. I saved to my favorites.

Diane, I agree that dsp is outstanding and can be used for masculine, birthday, etc., and is certainly beautiful as a Christmas card. Your fun fold design showcases those tree die cuts so beautifully.

That DS paper is so pretty, Diane, and of course perfect for this challenge. I love the very clever double easel design and the pretty gold-embossed greeting and gold bow!

Wonderful tartan DSP for the base of your lovely card in a more elaborate format, Diane. The pine trees are perfect in your design of this lovely Christmas card.

I love plaid at Christmas. Your trees look great against it. I like the idea that they come together when you fold up the card. I need to do more fancy fold cards and this design looks easy enough even for me. :-)
