This is my card for CC975. Diane is our hostess and she chose cherry cobbler, night of navy and shaded spruce for her color trio. Dessert Option is designer paper. I had the perfect paper- it's from the Stampin' Up "wrapped in plaid " collection. In fact, if you have this paper there is a sheet in the collection that has all 3 of this week's colors.
For my Christmas card, I used the Rocking Horse w/Toys die and cut in the challenge colors plus a couple of neutrals.
I used an edge die to cut the white panel and layered my images there. Added a few night of navy resin stars and stamped my sentiment in night of navy ink.
The bottom half of the card is featuring the designer paper in the cherry cobbler and shaded spruce colors. I like the gold trim on this design.
Hope you can find time this week to play along. Diane has chosen some great colors for your Christmas card designs.

Mary, you certainly did have the perfect paper for Diane's challenge and your rocking horse and little drummer images coordinate so well with the pretty plaid. Really love your layout with the stitched edge die.

Ahhhhh, what a beauty, Mary! You used this week's colors to perfection and really touched my heart with your images. The hobby horse for my daughter, who rode hers incessantly, and the drum for my son, who grew up to play in all-state band. Love this!
