My beautiful young friend (whom I've adopted as my granddaughter) just had the most adorable baby girl this week and I'm thrilled for her sweet little family. She has a three year old boy who has already stolen my heart. I noticed when I was choosing colors for the quilt I made for her that the colors for babies have changed a lot since my kids were young. No more baby pink and blue...now the colors are muted peaches and greens. Even a lot of brown! What we would call boho colors. It was an effort to step away from my usual bright colors, but a fun experiment. I was happy my card didn't have to match her nursery, but I stayed away from baby pink, just the same. I loved the peachy flowers in this Pooh party in our inspiration: https://www.catchmyparty.com/parties...dred-acre-wood

This is the most precious card ever. I love the image and the framing is gorgeous, also. Love the boho colors. Peach is definitely a fave of mine. BTW, I love a three yr. old, too....my fave age. They say the funniest, cutest things.

I thought the frame was a real porcelain one until I read your writeup. What a lovely die cut and the gold outline really adds to it. Your image is beautiful. Love the colouring. Thanks for sharing your story. Have a great niece who will be 3 soon, so cute!

Our granddaughter's two week old baby enjoys a mural painted by a good friend in black, gray, moss, and peach. I know what you mean about blue and pink going by the board! The card you made is so sweet, and I'm sure just perfect for your little "family". Lovely bg and coloring, of course.

Another gem of a card for Indy Jean (love the middle name)! I'm very out of the loop about baby colors, although I think a woodsie look is still popular, so those colors you mentioned make sense. I need to take coloring lessons from you.

Nancy, this card is gorgeous. Some wonderful coloring of this pretty image and that framing is perfect. It is even more special because it is going to someone super special. Lovely. Hugz
