This was one of my mistakes that I could throw away. I wanted to make some rubber cement paper for Christmas cards, so I tried putting rubber cement down, then real red down, more rubber cement, then glorious green. However, when I put the glorious green on there it turned it a brown color. If you look very closely you can see the green bits on some of the white stripes. Instead of throwing it away I decided to use it. The little mouse is an incentive stamp I got from my mom when we had a class, and the leaf is from Bold and Bright. I sponged creamy caramel in the squares first

If you hadn't explained I would never have guessed this was a "mistake" at all. It looks great. Goes to show, NEVER toss anything. There is always a way to put it to use. Thanks for the reminder and the great card (even if it was a mistake)!!
