I enjoy every one of these watercolors! what a great idea mounting it on a bold red/black plaid layer to really bring the red ornament to the focus! the little snow bits where it's caught in the corners of the branch, so realistic. thanks for sharing, Teresa

What a great tutorial you found for us. Each year I try to do a little painted Christmas card for my mom, brothers & sisters. This may be just what I need for them. I love your rendition with the snowy branch and the addition of the subtle snowbanks underneath. That little bit of plaid peeking out is just right.

Well done! Love the look of your ornament and I am intrigued with the end of your branch - it looks as if someone has come along and snapped off a bit of the twig to take home with them.
