This is my card for CC973. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue for her color trio. Dessert option this week is anything goes. I chose to use red for dessert.
I went with a Christmas theme for my card. I used the Vintage Holiday Lantern die and cut in 2 of the challenge colors plus a few neutrals of mossy meadow, soft suede, a metallic brown and a metallic beige.
I cut my Noel in polished pink. This is a new die from Stampin' Up. The background snowflake embossed paper is from Lasting Impressions. I have had it in my stash for years.
That's my sample. Hope you can play along with us. Jeanne has chosen some great colors for your card creations.

I love these non-traditional colors for a Christmas card, and this one is so lovely, with the pretty pink ribbon and letters, and the very traditional lantern with greens. Lots of texture and depth to this beautiful card!

I love that you created this gorgeous Christmas card using non-traditional colors, Mary! How wonderful that you had the perfect embossed background paper in your stash!

Fantastic! Love the lantern with the flowing pink ribbon. The greenery & berries are fabulous, too. Love it all. A beautiful Christmas card with some traditional & non-traditional colors, but all for a great look!

I love everything about this--the lantern die to the 'Noel' at the top. It's so stylized and the design is terrific. I have a similar candle die that I want to try this on. I saved to my favorites.
