 | | Congrats to Korimu on being featured stamper. There's so much inspiration in her gallery and when I saw this card, Life is Short, Buy the Fabric by Korimou at Splitcoaststampers the inspiration started flowing! The thumbnail struck me as Christmasy with the scarf, and being that I need Christmas cards, I took my inspiration in that direction. I have seen and also dressed a form in greenery, so I thought I could do it with paper. It IS much easier with paper, lol! I embossed my stand and rubbed a wee bit of white craft ink over it because my inspiration piece has so much texture. I also embossed the background for more texture, and added in some plaid strips for interest and to play along in the CAS challenge to use plaid. There's a little piece of angled fabric in my inspiration piece so it worked in well to angle my word. Thanks for taking a peek. |
