Black card with a chalk-colored white layer and mat sprayed to seal. I Digi printed my plaque, edged it in ink, and fussy cut it out. I then drew a gravestone on gray paper, by looking at clipart online. Cut it out and glue it down with the Digi "plaque" glued over the top. I used grass paper to cut grass "free form" style. Stamped my bat and 2 flies. The reference to the name and the saying underneath is because my Dr. for more than 35 years is retiring and this is how I'll feel when she leaves in January. My last visit with her is this Friday, a very sad day for sure. Inside is stamped with a ghost greeting and a spider for the web that I hand drew. Thanks to all for looking and for taking the time to let me know you visited.

You sure drew a good gravestone and web. You have a talent for that, Betty. Oh, it is so tough to lose a good doctor and one you have used for so long. Hope you find another one you really like. Have a good rest of the weekend.

Fabulous job with both your hand drawn works and the fussy cutting. Love how you used grass paper to make the grass. The punny name and dedication on the tombstone is great. I know what you mean about losing a long time physician. No matter who you get, you can't replace all those years together. I hope she's leaving for happy reasons; but, I'm sorry for you too. I think she will both love and appreciate this fun farewell. Wonderful card.

This looks amazing Betty. Love the glow you have around your headstone. I hate it when people retire when one has had a good relationship all these years. And you will have to start all over again with someone new. Not easy...Hope you find a good one. Your title is too funny.

Wow. This is so creative and fun. I love that you drew your gravestone and fashioned up your grass. Super fun!!!!
Now losing a doctor is a very scary and sad thing. I am so sorry! Maybe your next one will be just as good if not better.
Giant hugz
