Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some rich fall colors: Blueberry Bushel, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie. The dessert option is a scarecrow and/or add a green. I would like two servings of dessert, please!
I used my new girl scarecrow set for this card, stamped the images on X-Press-It Blending Card, die cut and colored with Copic Markers. I used blending brushes and Distress Oxide inks on Bristol Smooth paper for my stenciled swirling leaves. Added a little fence and some grass, and all I needed to do was arrange scarecrow, crow and mouse in my image.
I added a cute greeting at the bottom that already featured a little black bird. Serendipity!
Thanks for taking a peek at my card! Please come join us in the gallery this week; we'd love to see your creation!

Your little scarecrow is so sweet and she looks like she is having fun with her field friends. Love the mouse on the fence. Such a cute idea for a Fall birthday card.

Awwwww, cuteness alert, cuteness alert...this is so cute!!! I love that you gave us gals a shout out with this adorable scarecrow. She's obviously waaaay too friendly with the crows, though. Love your stenciled bg and how you have the leaves swirling about. The die cut fence and grass add more charm here. Awesome card.

Oh my goodness, Barbara, she is way too sweet to be a "scare"crow! Cuteness all the way! The fence and the mouse checking her out, and those fly away leaves everywhere. What a delightful creation~
