Mary is our hostess this week and her perky colors are Pumpkin Pie, Blueberry Bushel, Crushed Curry and either a choice of green, a scarecrow, or both.
I thought that Granny Apple Green seemed to balance the the brightness of the other colors here, plus it fits in perfectly with the citrus/orange theme I have going here. The bright blue is dry embossed with white to accentuate the texture.
Thank you so much for taking a peek! I hope you will play along this week.

This is a bunch of fun and a great way to say Thanks to a friend. I love your citrus and how great they look in the pumpkin and curry; but stamping the bg with the same stamp on the blue is what totally makes this card for me. I love how that looks and how it makes your yellow fruit pop off the page. Great use of the colors and one Great card.

Fabulous idea for the challenge colors! Love the citrus slices. The embossed blue strip with the white highlighting is beautiful. The GAG leaves are just the right touch. Great card!

I love the way you used a non-orange-colored cardstock for your oranges! That's true artistic license, and it works phenomenally well here. I, too, chose Granny Apple Green, and agree it's a great complement to the challenge colors. Love the orange slices and the cute greeting!

The bg with the white makes it really show up, Chris. Fab job on the challenge adding the green!
