This week's Teapot Tuesday challenge is to use butterflies. This is an old butterfly stamp, and I've always done it in one color before. I wanted to try multiple colors, so I made serious use of the stamping platform because I stamped each color separately. I used an extremely old Petal Point Pigment ink set. If you know what a Petal Point is, you've been stamping a long time. Since it was pigment ink, I was able to complete all the stamping, then use clear EP to emboss it. I splattered gold paint on top. The sentiment is white-embossed. The striped ribbon has almost all the colors in the stamping, and there's a tiny bit of baker's twine in place of a bow.

Oh, I remember the petal points. I never had one, but I did like those ColorBox pigment inks. I had a lot of the cats eye ones, till the foam started to crumble. Even with the slower drying time you must have to work fairly smartly to get it embossed. It looks lovely in the rainbow of colours and with the gold spatter. I like your slimline layout.

What a beautiful card! I love your rainbow of butterflies, and the gold splatters! How wonderful to have that matching ribbon, too!
