My mother in law had a dentist appointment today. I took my art journal along. I was thankful for the distraction. There was a man in the waiting room with his phone blaring music that was fighting the ambient music of the waiting room. It was very irritating. So I was glad to get lost in my painting. I wanted to give my pears a fall home. I watched some of the video but did most of it my own way because I understand phone etiquette about not playing videos from my phone. So I donât know if the artist on the video splattered her pears. I took a scrap piece of paper and masked around the pears and splattered light green paint to the pears to give them texture. Hope you have a blessed day.

I love this for your Bible jounal, MariLynn. Good job with the pears. The leaves, acorns, and mushrooms look great, too. I am surprised the office did not tell that guy to turn his sound off or down. Very rude!!!

Your pears are lovely, beautifully painted, as are both pages of your journal. Love the mushrooms and acorns. Good for you for keeping your cool and distracting yourself in the presence of that rude person!

Amazing journaling under distress. I took your inspiration of hand penning the journal pages and did my sentiment on my card today. Like the take of the fall images and details. You always create something soothing. TFS

What a beautiful composition. For me, that over-arching branch that lays across both pages is the key to tying this all together. I love your pastel color palette to allow your words to be in focus. The additional items of mushroom, leaf and acorns adds so much to the creation.
