Today, unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card. I browsed Pat's aka contrapat, gallery for some inspiration and found it with this card: Bright Blingy Butterfly by contrapat at Splitcoaststampers
Congratulations on being featured stamper, Pat, and thank you for the lovely inspiration. I loved the focal butterfly and kept that aspect of Pat's design. I orientated my card vertically because that's what worked with the size of my butterfly and what I could fit it onto. I gave my butterfly a tilt, switched up the colours, and added embossing to my bg. Instead of a banner strip, I added a sentiment die. I just purchased a package of soft succulent and as I was looking for base colours, my eye caught it and I really like how it looks with the image panel. That was a happy and unexpected discovery. Thanks for taking a look.

Oh, my goodness! This is such a gorgeous card. Your coloring on the butterfly is absolutely stunning. It pops right off the screen even in thumbnail size. I love it!

Really, really pretty. Love everything about this card - especially the colors and that butterfly. Some great embossing and stamping.
So sorry you needed a sympathy card. It is special and sure to make the recipient feel hugged.
