We are heading to a visitation for a neighbor who passed away recently so I needed a quick sympathy card. I actually had another set of cards underway using the Tea Boutique papers so I grabbed a couple of coordinating ones and built the rest of the card from there.
I cut the plaid piece to size and attached to a white premade card base. I trimmed the botanical piece and attached. I stamped the tree on some pink cardstock using versamark ink and heat embossed with holographic powder (mistake-I was reaching for silver Pearl but oh well). I cut it out with the radiating stitches smaller rectangular frame die and also cut a heart using the heart die from the same set. I attached the stamped piece to the card. I die cut the sentiment from a scrap of silver cardstock and glued it in place, then added the sentiment with a piece of foam tape.for how fast I made it and how improvised it was, Iâm happy how it turned out!
USEIT2023: I got the tree stamp at Michaelâs many years ago and I think this was the first time I have used it! Embarrassing but I know there are other elderly wood mounted stamps in my stash that have never touched ink! Also first use of the Tea Boutique papers, and I otherwise was using scraps for this card.
