This was one more set of cards for the silent auction, in case people wanted non-cat Christmas cards. I'm not sure why I picked this design because it was pretty dang complicated to make 6 cards!
I was inspired to CASE this pin from my Pinterest collection:
I pretty much did the same design as the original cardmaker, using what I had and adding a little more greenery. If I were making a one-off card I probably would have added a bow and some bling like the original, but I was trying to minimize the things that could fall off before they are purchased at the auction!
I cut two of the scalloped squares from white cardstock and glued them to the card front, then stamped the sentiment so I had a general idea of where my various leaves would go. I stamped the darkest leaves in pesto ink. All the others were two-step designs and I used the same ink colors for the two steps, just stamped off the first one to make it lighter. I stamped the lighter leaves in Wild Wasabi, the holly in Old Olive, the pinecones and berry stem in Crumb Cake, and the berries in Real Red. Believe it or not this is the first time I've done two-step stamping in decades and it takes some practice! It's a lot easier without the wood mounts though...
Once everything was stamped, I die cut all the pieces out. I arranged the leaves on the card front and glued in place. I added clear glitter glue to the pine cones and berries. While that dried I cut white cardstock to size to make an insert for the inside of the card. I stamped another sentiment from Christmas to Remember on the insert and glued to the inside of the card. Once the glitter glue was dried, I attached the pinecones and berries to the card front. I'm not sure what possessed me to make a set of six cards with so many pieces, but I love how they turned out!
I know they aren't autumn leaves, but I'm counting these for today's Free For All challenge, and also the Ways to Use It from a couple of weeks ago to use stickles, nuvo drops etc. I think glitter glue counts as et cetera, yes?
USEIT2023: Finally used my Christmas Season stamps after having them for two years and pinning a gazillion card examples using them. I mainly got the set for the label dies and have used them plenty but I'm glad to have used these stamps at along last. They are fun!

Very pretty. I like the glitter on your pine cones.
