I started by embossing the Herringbone stencil from SU Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks. To emboss I used a Spellbinders tan embossing mat and ran it through my die cutting machine. Then I added the solar paste to parts of the raised places. I decided to add scallops using a die, but that was a mistake. I should have die cut first, then emboss, as the machine flattened some of the embossing. The apples have sparkle on them from a clear sparkle pen.
My mixed media parts are the embossing, solar paste, gems, and sparkle that doesn't photograph well.
Of course, I had to have a matching envelope. The apples on the envelope match the inside. All were colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with Gamsol.

The embossed background is nicely done, and love the apples. What a bonus to have the coordinating envelope!

This is lovely! I love texture on cards, so partly raised in my eyes is awesome! Solar paste is on my wishlist to try! The 3D blossoms really top it off!
