A card to recognize the gallery of our Featured Stamper for week FS871, lorettagrace!
I selected Be Happy by lorettagrace at Splitcoaststampers
to case for the Challenge because I recently rediscovered similar blooms made for a workshop I taught in 2008. Somehow my leftovers bin grows faster than I can use the pieces!
I fussy cut my florals while planning my CASE approach. My flowers were red, so that dictated my background color. The closest way for me to replicate her background was the Crosshatch stamp.
I opted for a patterned vellum then realized it was much too busy if I added color to the back side. Rather than doodling I stamped ornate corners and attached with Tombo Vellum Adhesive.
The centerpiece was both assembled & attached with GlueDot Minis, and the die-cut sentiment went on with liquid glue.

Love how you captured the essence of Loretta's card but made it uniquely your own. The vellum panel really works well to let the flowers stand out against the patterned background.

A great case of Loretta's card .... how nice that you had those cute handcrafted flowers in your stash!

Gayle, this is such a pretty case of Loretta's inspiration card. I love the red patterned paper on the background and the vellum layer. Your bright flowers really pop.

Oh I did not get those dies and that "happy" is just so sweet and fits perfectly under your happy looking blooms. I love that background crosshatch stamp. So interesting!
