In my bible art journal today thanks to the wonderful tutorial that Brenda found. I didnât have the cream watercolor paint that the tutorial had so I was struggling at first to figure out how to get the paint onto my piece of cardboard. I took a sandwich bag and painted onto it and then dipped my cardboard into that. I found out that the cardboard started to absorb too much paint as I went along and to keep crisp edges I had to trim the cardboard to get a fresh edge. To get the bark in the centers of the branches I used the corner of the cardboard. I painted the individual leaves and then went over with a light pale yellow wash. I kept a clearing in the woods for my bible scripture. Blessings. Thank you Brenda.

The cardboard worked well for you. The credit card worked well because of the plastic. I added brown to the black so it wouldn't look too harsh. It's always a treat to see your bible journaling. Love how the tumbling leaves look and your hand penned scripture.
