This is for one of our SIL's birthday, which is in November. I embossed the pinecone background with white powder, then used oxide inks, first in salvaged patina, the cones in fossilized amber and some vintage photo. The pine sprigs were done with evergreen bough. To try and achieve the pebbled path color, I started with smoky slate cardstock, adding vintage photo and then some hickory smoke. The sentiment was stamped in dark chocolate, torn and attached.

Beautiful card. I love how the white pine needles appear against your gorgeous ink blending. Your "recipe" for pebble path is a lot closer than mine -- you did a super job there! Wonderful card and one your SIL is sure to love and appreciate.

Emboss resist! One of my very favorite techniques! And you did a wonderful job of selectively coloring the images. Love the torn greeting in the center!
