I saw a card from Paula Barin using one of the older fish stamp sets and the diorama dies to make an underwater cave scene. I cased it, using newer stamps and dies. This is my version, thanks Paula.
I made light pencil marks on the bottom white layer (not the card base) for the smallest opening of the diorama cut out. Brushed that entire white layer with Pool Party and Pretty Peacock to get soft color all the way to the edges, but darker in the middle onto which I stamped the 'scene' in Night of Navy. This lower white piece was cut at 5-1/4 x 4. The Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock layers and also the top white layer were all cut to the same size - 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 to stack neatly together. They were then glued together, then popped up as a whole on top of the 'scene' layer so that the light blue color from the 'scene' layer was peeking out all around. This complete panel was glued onto the White card base.
