I don't normally make Halloween cards, but the colors looked like fun and I decided to make a couple of cards for our great grandsons. I used a circle mask for the moon and brushed on wilted violet and twisted citron distress oxide inks. Removed the circle and brushed on some spun sugar, then used the residual ink on the other two brushes to enhance the look. The cat, branch and bats were cut from black and attached. The boo was cut from some Doodlebug DSP and attached. I decided to split the background frame between the purple and green and am happy with the look.

If I didn't have grandkids, I probable wouldn't make any Halloween cards either. I love this one. The BOO is really cute and i love the cat and bats. Fun card.

You nailed this even if not your usual go-to for card themes! You made it fun spooky, not scary spooky, and incorporated the challenge colors nicely. I adore the split background frame, so clever and total works here. I'll have to try that myself!
