Brian used fabric and actual sewing to create his card. I used metallic and glitter cardstock, changed to a landscape format and centered my sentiment.
In the Technique Lover's Challenge, Lyn requested quilt cards and she asked us to use an embossing folder to create the appearance of quilting. I used scraps of metallic and glitter cardstock for my quilt pieces and a Cuddlebug folder for the embossing. The sentiment was silver embossed.
Thank you, Julie and Lyn, for hosting the challenges. Congratulation, Brian! Enjoy your week in the sun.

Looks fabulous Rita. Love the aqua with the navy blue and soothing browns and green. The metallic and glitter add so much interest. A wonderful quilt card to honor Brian.

I herby dub you the Paper Quilt Queen. I don't know if quilting is one of your hobbies, but, if so, they must be gorgeous. You have a wonderful eye for combining colors and patterns. Love the metallics on this beauty and the ef you choose adds just the right amount of texture. Fabulous card, Rita.

This is so creative, and the textures just jump right out at you! It's one of those "I wanna touch it it's so beautiful" kind of cards! Really wonderful!
